Harvetta’s Education & Faith

As a young child, I was that creative, odd bird - a free spirit that loved fiercely, brought home stray animals & people. As I got older,  I wrote poetry, plays, & music, and began to design clothes. I knew in 7th grade that I needed to leave our small town and go far away. Everybody said I was smart so that meant college was where I'd go after  high school. At age 16, I arrived on the campus of Stanford University  with dreams of being a poet who solves the problem of harnessing nuclear fusion so everyone can power their homes and vehicles with free nuclear energy. Then "it" happened.

The short version of "it": I began to lose touch with my soul, eventually forgot who I was, and basically slept for more than 20 years.   

The longer version of "it": I listened to those who said that I wasn't good at  calculus and that art & drama were not "practical" in terms of "making a living" (meaning steady pay). I graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Economics and earned a Juris Doctor degree  from Tulane Law School. Then I did what I was trained to do: work hard, work long hours, write briefs, handle jury trials, prosecute defendants and  represent clients  in  additional  ways. 

After 20+ years of practicing law, I realized I had no idea how to have fun and no longer even knew what I enjoyed!  So I started small:  what colors do I really like? What do I like to wear? Though it took about a decade, I eventually re-learned who I am.

Throughout my life I had struggled with depression & anxiety and with   having healthy self-esteem & healthy relationships. I'd had several  therapists ... some helped, some didn't. Then I crossed paths with Tom Heintz, an energy healer whose card said he specialized in self sabotage and  thought, "Who does that? . . . There's something different about this  guy." 

I followed my gut/intuition and invested in myself by paying him to work with  me. What Heintz did actually helped! The energy healing worked for me and I wanted to learn more about it. So I went with him to a conference led by Dr. Bradley Nelson, author of both The Emotion Code and The Body Code. Before the end of the day, I knew in my  spirit that energy healing would play a significant role the next chapter in my life. 

Less than two years later - and after more than 30 years practicing law - I resigned from the State Attorney General’s Office. I earned certifications in The Emotion Code and The Body Code, studied Heintz's Ultimate Healer System, and opened Divine Connection Healing, LLC. 

I still love science. Energy healing works for me and for many of my clients. As stated by Albert Einstein, "Everything is energy and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics."

Now I delight in helping people and their animals find healing by releasing emotional baggage and other energetic imbalances. I also enjoy assisting clients with relationships, careers, finances, self-esteem, insecurities, and any other issues.
